This odd comic strip saga was born years ago when a friend casually uttered the unlikely simile, "Like a koala bear getting hit by a lollipop truck." In that instant, the meaning of life became clear.

Fun facts!

 

 

  • No one is sure who first invented the lollipop. Candy on a stick is such a widespread custom that it may simply be an innate force of nature!

 

  • Early ice cream trucks carried simple ice cream, which was a novelty because most families did not have a freezer. As home freezers became more widespread, the trucks adapted to more novel forms of the treat.

 

  •  A koala survived a high speed car crash in Australia and became somewhat famous, earning the nickname "Bear Grylls."
